Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Aarti Surfactants(PP), Aki India, Srivasavi Adhesive Tapes Ltd., Kamdhenu Ventures Ltd. and Shera Energy Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:00AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 91.1 points to 17715.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Nirman Agri Genetics, Latteys Industries and Seya Industries, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 36 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, JSW Steel, Eicher Motors, ITC and Bajaj Auto were among top gainers, while Asian Paints, L&T, TCS, Grasim Inds. and Wipro traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 304.8 points up at 60151.31 at 11:00AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in General, Power, Rubber, Real Estate and Retail sectors, while selling was visible in Infrastructure, Plastics, Media & Entertainment, Industrial Equipment and NBFC sectors.
