Criminal taken on CM’s trip to UP, says Sena (UBT) MLC

Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC and Opposition leader in the Legislative Council Ambadas Danve on Monday posted a photo of a person allegedly accused in an extortion and murder case, reportedly from chief minister Eknath Shinde’s plane to Ayodhya. CM Shinde had travelled to Ayodhya on Sunday.
“What is this? Earlier Gujarat washed the traitors by installing a washing machine. Now it seems that Siddesh Abhange, the accused in the extortion and murder case, has been taken there to bathe in the holy town of Ayodhya. That too in Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s plane. Now does it work for you Devendra Fadnavis?” Danve said in a tweet posting the photo along with the tweet. Shinde travelled to Lucknow on Saturday night and took a helicopter ride the next day to Ayodhya where he visited the Ram Mandir construction work and performed Maha Aarti there as well as on the banks of Saryu river with DCM Devendra Fadnavis. The Maharashtra CM also met UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Sunday night in Lucknow before returning to Mumbai.
Describing his trip to Ayodhya as “successful”, CM Shinde said, “We all visited Ram Lalla. I also met Yogi ji. There was talk of land for a Maharashtra Bhavan and he immediately agreed to it. I want to thank him for that.” TNN
