Chinese military drills: Taiwan condemns China's "combat readiness patrols"

Taiwan’s defence ministry condemned China for conducting military exercises in the waters around Taiwan. Defence ministry spokesperson Sun Li-fang gave a recorded statement in English Monday on China’s military moves in the region, saying they caused instability. Taiwan's Coast Guard Administration released a video on Saturday purportedly showing an officer warning a Chinese military vessel not to draw near the island’s territorial waters limit.
