Since the recent Rama Navami, when the film's producers began to promote this Ramayana adaptation, they have also been involved in a number of issues.

For the movie's promotional launch, the producers unveiled a poster featuring prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Lakshman,, and Hanuman in their respective roles as Lord Rama and Sita. In fact, it was anticipated that this famous recreation of the four-person posture would increase interest in the movie.

Extreme right-wingers, however, claimed that Prabhas' portrayal of Lord Rama and Lakshmana violates the Ramacharitha Manas because they didn't follow the script's guidelines and didn't have them wear the sacred thread (Jandhyam). They even filed lawsuits against the manufacturers.

Adipurush appears to be facing numerous controversies in the future in addition to criticism for its subpar visuals and inaccurate portrayal of characters, such as the Islamization of Lord Ravana. Considering prabhas has yet to launch the film's promotional campaign, one may be wondering if this latest controversy would aid the movie in any way to garner the required attention.
