ULB polls in city on May 4

Lucknow: Over 31.15 lakh voters are likely to participate in upcoming urban local bodies polls in Lucknow which are scheduled for May 4.
According to district election officer Surya Pal Gangwar, under the city limits, polls will take place for 110 councilors, while in 10 nagar panchayats, voters will elect nagar panchayat adhyaksh and sadasya.
DEO’s team will set up 776 polling stations with 2,729 polling booths. Out of the total polling stations, 122 have been classified under sensitive category, 126 under ultra-sensitive category and 21 as ultra-sensitive plus category. The district has been divided into 35 zones and 130 sectors.
