Adorable puppy survives after being flung out moving car’s window during police chase

A puppy is alive after being flung from the window of a moving car during a police chase, Los Angeles cops said Sunday, calling the outcome “miraculous.”

Three people were arrested Saturday in the doggone caper. The charges were nothing to sniff at.

They were busted on attempted murder, carjacking and other counts after leading police on a chase “through multiple cities” in Los Angeles County and throwing the poor pooch out the window, swathed in a Michael Kors bag.

“During the pursuit, a puppy was placed in a designer bag and then tossed from the suspect’s moving vehicle,” police said in a statement. “Miraculously, the dog emerged unharmed.”

They did not specify how fast the vehicles were traveling.

LAPD officers took the doggie to South L.A. Animal Services, where it was held during the investigation into an “abandonment concern that was noted during the pursuit,” police said.

The trio was arrested in connection with a March 26 carjacking incident near St. John Missionary Baptist Church in southern Los Angeles.

Gustavo Alvarez, 27, was charged with attempted murder and carjacking and held without bail. Lynette Moreno, 27, was charged with setting up the second getaway vehicle, being an accessory and evading, police said, with bail set at $67,500. Michelle Zamudio, 25, was being held on $75,000 bail after her arrest for driving the second getaway vehicle. She booked for evading.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
