U.S. stocks fell Monday as investors braced for another increase in interest rates at next month’s Federal Reserve meeting.
The S&P 500 lost 0.6%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged down 0.1%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3%. Small-caps eked out a small advance—the Russell 2000 traded up 0.3%.
