Cannes Lions '23 to have thirteen Indians on jury

Cannes Lions has revealed its 2023 jury list which includes 13 Indian advertising professionals as jurors across categories.

Josy Paul, chairman and CCO, BBDO, India; Rajdeepak Das, CEO and CCO, Leo Burnett, South Asia; Swati Bhattacharya, creative chairperson, FCB India; Anupriya Acharya, CEO, Publicis Groupe, South Asia; Aditya Kanthy, CEO and MD, DDB Mudra Group, India; Sukesh Nayak, CCO, Ogilvy India; Aalap Desai, CCO, creative experience, West, Dentsu Creative India, Garima Khandelwal, former CCO, Mullen Lintas; Hemant Shringy, CCO, BBDO India; Valerie Pinto, CEO, Weber Shandwick India; Ahmed Aftab Naqvi, global CEO and co-founder, Gozoop; Farishte Irani, group head, copy, Dentsu Creative India, and PG Aditiya, co-founder and CCO, Talented, are the Indian jurors this year.

Speaking about the awards jury, Simon Cook, CEO, Lions, said, "Our jurors have a huge responsibility - giving up their time, energy and expertise to set the benchmark for creative excellence as part of the 70th edition of the Lions. We are excited to see the body of Lions-winning work that will set the industry standard for the next 70 years. This year, we have representation from seven new markets, our highest-ever representation from Africa and the Middle East, and a strong showing from a diverse mix of brands. Year 2023 marks the 70th edition of the festival, to be held in Cannes from June 19-23.
