BHUBANESWAR: The state recorded 97 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours taking the active caseload to 556 on Sunday.
As many as 29 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, official sources said. The state government has asked hospitals to keep beds ready for any sudden spike in infections.
There is hardly any hospitalisation of Covid patients, the sources said. The state government has been following a wait and watch policy and advised people to stay alert.
