Plea seeking free sanitary pads in school: Supreme Court asks Centre to form uniform policy

Supreme Court on Monday heard a PIL seeking the issuance of directions for providing free sanitary pads to girls studying in classes 6 to 12 in government schools across the country. Supreme Court directed the Central Government to make a uniform policy in four weeks.
