Spring sports have begun. So it's time for the return of the Blue Water Area Athlete of the Week poll. We need you to determine a winner.

Voting ends at noon on Thursday.

The most recent winner was Armada boys basketball's Andrew Sniesak, who scored a game-high 24 points in the Tigers' 60-55 win over St. Clair in a Division 2 district semifinal on March 8. He also surpassed 1,000 career points during the game.

Want to nominate an athlete for a future poll? Email Times Herald sports reporter Brenden Welper (bwelper@gannett.com) and let him know who had a stellar week. Please submit entries by 10 p.m. on Sunday.
