Delhi News Live Updates: Elderly couple found murdered in Gokulpuri area

After alleged desecration of a religious flag led to brick-batting and arson between two groups, prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC have been imposed at Shastrinagar in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur.Internet services have been suspended across steel city since 1am following communal clashes. Security forces on Monday conducted flag march in Kadma police station area to monitor the situation.

An elderly couple was found murdered in north east Delhi's Gokulpuri area, police said on Monday. The deceased elderly person had retired from a govt school as vice principal & was living with his wife. Further investigation is under way.

According to an airline official the passenger had a fight with flight crew members in mid-air. The airline has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Airport Police on the incident. The said passenger is currently at the PS Delhi Airport.

A 35-year-old CRPF jawan lost his life after a vehicle hit his motorcycle on Canal Road here, police said on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Kumar.The incident occurred on Sunday night when the CRPF jawan was on his way to Khatauli from his native village Mogpur on a motorcycle. (PTI)

Section 144 CrPc is enforced in Jamshedpur's Kadma police station area in view of the stone pelting that broke out between two groups in Jamshedpur on Sunday over the alleged desecration of a religious flag. Mobile internet is also temporarily banned. According to the officials, a company of Rapid Action Force (RAF) is also deployed in the area.
