GURGAON: Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said that the state government had decided to collaborate with private schools and institutions to imbibe values (sanskar) in students studying in government schools.
He said the government schools have ample teachers and resources in addition to well-built infrastructure, yet private schools are ahead with their sterling management.
Khattar was in the city to inaugurate the new building of Satya School, a private school previously known as GEMS Modern School. He stressed that schools should impart holistic knowledge to students besides the concept of theoretical understanding.
“Private schools have set an example in front of the government with their sterling management and teaching methods. The government has hence been associating with well-to-do private schools, signing MoUs with them to benefit from their resources,” the CM mentioned.
