UP: Crime branch seizes drugs worth Rs 2.5 crore, arrests 5 interstate drug peddlers

A Crime Branch team arrested 5 interstate smugglers from Ghaziabad, UP, on April 08. Police recovered 13 kg of cannabis and 1 kg of opium worth Rupees 2.5 crore from their possession. As per the police, these interstate smugglers used to supply goods from Nepal to western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and other states.
