Major respite to 1.6 lakh consumers as CNG and PNG cheaper by Rs 5, Rs 3 in Lucknow

LUCKNOW: In a respite for about 1.6 lakh consumers of CNG and PNG in Lucknow, Unnao, Ayodhya and Agra, the Green Gas Limited on Saturday reduced the price of CNG by Rs 5 per kg and PNG by Rs 3 per SCM.
Consumers of CNG in Lucknow, Unnao and Agra would now have to pay Rs 93.96 per kg while in Ayodhya CNG would cost Rs 94.85 per kg. Similarly, for piped natural gas (PNG) consumers in Lucknow and Agra have to pay Rs 57.43 per SCM. The new rates will come into effect from Sunday.
