President to attend HAU convocation on April 24

Hisar: President Draupadi Murmu will be the chief guest at the 25th convocation ceremony of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University on April 24, 2023, and will deliver the convocation speech.
Vice-chancellor Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj said that Haryana governor and Chancellor of the University Bandaru Dattatreya will preside over the convocation.
State chief minister Manohar Lal will be the very special guest and agriculture and farmers welfare minister JP Dalal will be the special guest, the VC said.
The VC informed that students who have completed their education from August 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022 will be awarded bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in the convocation ceremony. Apart from this, gold medals will also be awarded to those students who have excelled in education, VC said.
The vice-chancellor added that only those alumni would be allowed to participate in the convocation who would report for rehearsal on April 23.
Saari must for girl students
Dr. Balwan Singh Mandal, the registrar of the university, said that a special dress code has been fixed for the students receiving degrees at the convocation ceremony. Full sleeve white shirts, white pants, black belt, white socks and black leather shoes for boys, while for girls half sleeve white blouses, white saree with red border, white Socks and black colored leather shoes or sandals will be mandatory as a dress code, he said.
