HYDERABAD: Shortly after BJP state president Bandi Sanjay walked out of Karimnagar prison on Friday morning after securing a bail in the SSC exam question paper leak case, Warangal police said they will appeal against the bail order.
Bandi has been named A1 in the paper leak case. Warangal police commissioner AV Ranganath told TOI, “We have sought legal opinion to go for an appeal against the bail order.” At around 9am, Sanjay was released from the prison after completion of bail formalities. As a precaution, Karimnagar police commissioner L Subba Rayudu imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC around the prison to prevent gathering of crowd from 6am. Rallies and meetings were prohibited and restrictions were imposed on vehicular traffic near the prison. After Sanjay left the prison, the restrictions were eased.

Apart from Eatala, police also issued notices to his two PAs and several others for questioning in the coming few days. The petition of police seeking custody of the four accused in the SSC exam question paper leak case is posted for Monday by the local court at Hanumakonda.
