Infinix is skipping the number 13 and heading straight to 30 in their latest Note series for this year. It’s no surprise since their Hot series is now at Hot 30 which was launched yesterday in the country.

The Note 30 lineup is the company’s midrange series which usually launches in May or June.

Note 30 will skip the 20:9 aspect ratio for a taller 20.5:9 aspect ratio for the lineup. It will have 120Hz refresh rate at least for the VIP version and 90Hz refresh for the regular versions.

The company is partnering up with JBL to tune its speakers for the Note 30 series. This would be a really good thing as some of Infinix’s rivals already sport JBL-tuned speakers. This new addition would make the Note series more attractive seeing that the Note 12 series went all out design-wise and everything else.

The resolution will be kept at 1080p and have a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera.

The main cameras will include a 64MP primary and a 5MP and another VGA camera. Video recording is capped at 2K video 30fps for the main and 1080p for the selfie videos.

Note 30 will be powered by Helio G99 chipset and have up to 16GB of RAM(8GB of RAM with 8GB of virtual RAM) and 256GB of of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It will ship with Android 13 straight out of the box.

Note 30 will have a 5000mAh battery and support up to 33W fast charging. The VIP version will probably have a smaller 4500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging.

We might not see the 260W charging that they tested on a prototype GT 10 Pro.

120W is still fast as it charged the Note 12 VIP from 2% to 85% in 15 minutes. You actually had to enable the Super Fast Charge option to achieve these speeds.

260W could juice up from empty to 25% in a minute and to full in under 8 minutes.
