RANCHI: A team of the Maharashtra police with the help of their Ranchi counterparts on Friday arrested one Shamim Jawed Ansari from the Itki police station area in Ranchi for making objectionable posts with morphed photographs of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and other political leaders on his YouTube channel.
A case in this connection was registered with the Nigdi police station in Pune of Maharashtra. The case was filed under sections 295A, 505, 153(4) of the IPC and sections 67 and 67A of the Information Technology Act against more than 10,000 YouTube channels and portals.
