Nuno Mendes did well to keep the ball in play and maka run along the left flank, but there is no end product as Todibo intervenes and takes the ball away from him.
GOOOOALLL!! MESSI SCORES FOR A PSG LEAD!! Nice cannot clear its lines, which ends up hurting the home side. Mendes drives a low cross inside the box and Messi guides the ball inside the back of the net with a first-time finish.
Off the woodwork- Danilo gets at the end of a PSG cross and heads the ball at goal. It is agonisingly close for the defender as his effort hits the crossbar.
Hakimi makes a bursting run and looks to send in a ball from the right. But, Boudaoui makes a brilliant challenge to stop the Moroccan.
Nice attacks yet again- This time it is Moffi who tries to make something happen in the final third. One-on-one with Ramos inside the PSG box, he does get his shot away, but Ramos does enough to put Moffi off, which ends up with the latter dispatching a weak shot that is collected easily by Donnarumma.
Thuram cuts in and goes for a curling shot from the edge of the PSG box. The effort is not on target but had Donnarumma worried for a moment.
Pepe opens up his body and tries to find the top corner with his shot. But, his shot is overcooked and sails above Donnarumma.
Nice wins the ball high up the pitch in PSG’s half. Thuram looks to start an attack and finds Mendy on the right with a good pass. Mendy tries to send a cross inside the PSG box, but Danilo does well to block it.
Messi takes a shot from distance yet again. This time, the effort is on target but the ball rolls weakly to Schmeichel, who collects easily.
PSG sub: IN- Fabian Ruiz OUT- Sanches
A forced substitution for PSG as Renato Sanches has injured himself and cannot continue. It looks like he has pulled a muscle as he went to challenge for the ball.
Soler tries to send a cross inside the box but it is blocked. Nice’s Pepe gets the ball and finds Ramsey who carries the ball away from danger.
Messi’s shot takes a deflection and the ball falls to Soler, who goes for a first time shot from outside the box. He caught the shot well but sees his effort blocked.
Shot: First shot of the night is taken by Lionel Messi from distance. It is a weak effort and not on target.
A reserved start from PSG. It is taking its time on the ball and looking for that pass to open up the defence.

When Christophe Galtier left Nice to coach Paris Saint-Germain, he had hopes of leading the club to its first Champions League title.
Now he heads back to Nice for Saturday’s league game fighting to save his job after PSG’s terrible run of form. Last weekend’s loss to Lyon was PSG’s second straight home defeat in the league and eighth across all competitions this year.
“That’s far too many. Match after match we’re using up our trump cards,” Galtier said. “Everyone, myself included, needs to be fully aware of the situation and the work that needs to be done.”
The Lyon loss has given second-place Lens and third-place Marseille — both six points behind PSG — a glimmer of hope with nine rounds left.
