Thane: The Thane crime branch recently arrested two accused and seized from them four bikes and seven stolen auto rickshaws. Accused Sarvesh Vishe, 23 and Mohan Vishe, 22, both are residents of Kasheli in Bhiwandi. The police said that they had information that the accused would steal the motor vehicles and then sell them to other people. Hence, the officer from the central crime detection branch laid a trap and arrested the duo for questioning. Following the interrogation, the two were found to be involved in around 10 such cases in the Thane police commissionerate. The police said that during the investigation, it was revealed that they had targeted vehicles from Narpoli, Kapurbawdi, and Wagle estate areas. “They would strike the vehicles which are parked on the road side and by breaking the lock they would flee,” said a police officer.
