5 West Bengal girls rescued from Bihar

KOLKATA: Five girls from Bengal, including four minors and a speech and hearing impaired 20-year-old girl, were rescued on Wednesday during an early morning raid at Motihari in Bihar's East Champaran district.
Two culprits Nandu Yadav and Manjay Yadav were arrested and were sent to jail custody by Motihari district court on Wednesday.
They have been booked under IPC 370 for human trafficking, 371 for dealing in slaves, 373 for keeping minor girls in a brothel along with Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act (ITPA), Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, Juvenile Justice Act and POCSO Act.
