Manish Sisodia, former deputy chief minister of Delhi who is currently in jail, has written a letter from his prison cell to the country regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's degrees. Sisodia has alleged that Modi being less educated is dangerous for the country. He further remarked that "Modi ji does not understand science" and "does not understand the importance of education. In his letter, Sisodia, who was also the former education minister of Delhi, claimed that 60,000 schools have been closed in the last few years. He stated that education is the foundation of any society and called for its strengthening. He also criticized the current government for reducing the education budget and not investing enough in education.
