One woman dead, another behind bars in Boone County on DUI and manslaughter charges
Boone County investigators say a woman was driving drunk after leaving a bar when she lost control of her car in Walton early today, killing her passenger.

The county sheriff's office has charged 22-year-old Bryanna Godsey of Walton with second-degree manslaughter and first-degree operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol in the death of Allasandra Losey of Hebron, also 22.
Godsey was at the wheel when Losey was ejected from a 2010 Kia sedan that struck a culvert at the intersection of Richwood and Chambers roads about 1:30 a.m., the sheriff's office said in a news release.
Losey died at the scene.
Women had just left a bar
The sheriff's office said Godsey told deputies that she and Losey had just left a local bar and that Godsey had consumed alcoholic beverages - with her last drink being about 90 minutes before the crash.
Godsey and the interior of her car smelled strongly of alcoholic beverages, the sheriff's office said.
It said Godsey was treated for minor injuries at a hospital, where deputies served a search warrant and collected a blood sample from her for analysis.
Once discharged, Godsey was arrested and taken to the Boone County Detention Center.
