The 25-year-old Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey was found dead inside a hotel room in Varanasi on March 26. She allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan. However, after the actress's mother, her lawyer has now claimed that Akanksha was murdered. In a letter to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, attorney Shashank Shekhar Tripathi requested the CBI investigation into the case. He further asserted that Akanksha got forcibly cremated despite her mother’s demand to perform her daughter's last rituals after the postmortem report.
