Five injured as slab of water tank collapses

Vadodara: Five workers were injured when the slab of a water tank being constructed under the ‘Nal Se Jal’ scheme collapsed in Chharchhoda village of Garbada taluka in Dahod district. The incident took place on Thursday evening when labourers employed by a private contractor were at the site. Dahod collector Dr Harshit Gosavi said the work was being conducted under package eight of the ‘Nal Se Jal’ scheme. Gosavi said of the five injured three were admitted to Zydus Hospital.
