Ramgarh: Minister of labour, employment and skill development Satyanand Bhokta on Wednesday inaugurated a model community park developed with 6 crore District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) fund.
The park has been made in the memory of 53rd session of the Indian National Congress held in Ramgarh in 1940 which was presided over by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Minister Bhokta who is minister in-charge of Ramgarh district also inaugurated a stadium along Ramgarh-Bokaro NH 23 which has also been constructed using DMFT fund at an estimated cost of 6crore.
Bhokta also inaugurated and laid down foundation of 14 projects which include a model community park near district collectorate, Sidhu-Kanhu
sports stadium, beautification of Kathua ghat in Patratu dam, additional 16 toilets and same number of bathrooms in Kasturba Girl's High School in Mandu and foundation of approach road connecting Palani waterfall in Patratu, said an official. TNN
