Boulder police investigate menacing case

Apr. 6—Boulder police are investigating after a man reportedly pulled a gun on a coworker Thursday.

Boulder police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh said two roadworkers on Sumac Avenue got into an altercation when one of them threatened the other with a gun, then left the area.

Police were not able to immediately locate the armed man, and the case remains under investigation.

Nearby Crest View Elementary was temporarily placed on secure status as a precaution, but Waugh said no threat was ever made to the school.
