Police stopped BJP leader Vijay Sinha from entering the clash-affected area in Bihar’s Nalanda on April 7. Several incidents of violence, stone pelting and arsons have been reported since the day of Ram Navami on March 30. Security force personnel have been deployed since the festival and flag marches have been carried out to keep a check on the peace and security in the area.Speaking on the same, DM Shashank Shubhankar said, “They entered the city and their party office as well. We just requested them to visit the clash-hit areas after Section 144 is lifted. This instruction is common for all. We are forbidding everybody as of now.” “There are 15 FIRs as of now but as I had said earlier six of them are important. About 130 people have been arrested. SIT is also working on the matter. Our target is to arrange evidence too along with the arrest so that the culprits could be punished.” said SP Ashok Mishra.
