Now, video of woman dancing on Delhi Metro platform goes viral

Synopsis

The new video comes days after video of a scantily clad woman travelling in a Delhi Metro coach surfaced. Incidentally, DMRC had on several occassions warned passengers against making insta reels or dance videos inside Delhi metro, saying they would be fined if caught doing so.

Days after a video of a scantly-clad woman travelling in a Delhi Metro coach went viral on the internet, a new video of a woman dancing to a Bhojpuri song on a Delhi Metro platform has surfaced.

In the new video, a woman in a sari can be seen dancing on Delhi Metro platform.

The woman, identified as Avnikarish, has herself shared the video on her Instagram account.

In the video, she can be seen dancing to the popular Bhojpuri song Saj Ke Sawar Ke by Khesari Lal Yadav and Priyanka Singh.

The video has garnered over 12,000 likes at the time of writing this story.

Earlier, video of a scantily clad woman travelling in a Delhi Metro coach surfaced, forcing DMRC to issue a public message.

Responding to the video, the Delhi Metro stated that it expects its commuters to follow all social etiquette and protocols that are acceptable in society.

Commuters should not indulge in any activity or wear any attire that could offend the sensibilities of other passengers, it added.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation's Operations and Maintenance Act lists indecency as a punishable offence under Section 59.

"We appeal to all our passengers to kindly maintain decorum while travelling in a public transport system like the Metro. However, issues such as the choice of clothing while travelling is a personal issue and passengers are expected to self-regulate their conduct in a responsible manner," the DMRC added.

DMRC had on several occassions warned passengers against making insta reels or dance videos inside Delhi metro, saying they would be fined if caught doing so.

"Filming reels, dance videos or any other such activities that may cause inconvenience to the passengers is strictly prohibited inside the Delhi Metro," DMRC had said in a release in March this year.

DMRC has also issued similar advisory in February. DMRC used a reference from the Oscar-winning song 'Naatu Naatu' from 'RRR' and wrote, "Dance is fun but Delhi Metro mein Na-Naacho Naacho Naacho".

Before that DMRC had shared a meme based on popular dance realty show. The meme was posted with a caption "Metro mein 'safar' karein, 'suffer' naa karayein (travel in the metro, don't make others suffer)".
