Puscifer recently released a new version of "Apocalyptical" as re-imagined by Nine Inch Nails members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
The new version of the track appears on Existential Reckoning: Rewired, a reworking of their 2021 album by "friends and members of the larger Pusciforce family," which dropped last Friday.
The "Apocalyptical" remix flips the energetic Devo-esque original into a ghostly, skittering elegy.
"Sometimes it's just fun to break stuff," said Puscifer's Maynard James Keenan of the re-imagined versions. "Then you latch on to one familiar piece and build something entirely new."
