Naveen, officials meet JICA leadership in Tokyo, discuss ongoing & future projects

Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik and the government delegation accompanying him held a meeting with the senior leadership of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Tokyo on Wednesday and discussed various upcoming social sector and infrastructure projects in the state. The JICA leadership reiterated their commitment to supporting infrastructure development in the state, a government statement said.
A government officer said there was no specific discussion on the Metro project connecting Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri and Khurda. “The discussion was about ongoing projects and also future partnerships,” a senior officer said.TNN
