BJP to hoist over 13,000 party flags in Sangam City on foundation day
Prayagraj: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership will hoist around 13,592 party flags at different locations, including party headquarters, 1200 booths, mandal offices and residences of workers in the city to celebrate social justice week beginning from the party’s foundation day on April 6.
The first flag will be hoisted at the party’s headquarters in Civil Lines.
These party flags have been brought from Kashi Kshetra.
BJP leaders claimed that they will be listening to PM Narendra Modi’s address on party’s foundation day at their respective booths through virtual medium.
Party spokesman Rajesh Kesarwani told TOI: “Senior party leaders have instructed party functionaries to ensure that programmes related to celebration of social justice week is implemented at the booth level. Party workers have made their sincere efforts to reach out to the people trumpeting the work of the BJP led governments at the Centre and state. The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leaders are also set to organise medical camps, cleanliness campaign and Sah-Bhoj (dinner programmes) at district, ward, block and divisional levels on Friday.”
On April 8, conferences will be organised at the district level by the Scheduled Tribes Morcha. Along with this, information related to employment will also be made available. On April 9, the Kisan Morcha of the party will launch a public awareness campaign on natural farming. The Mahila Morcha will organise dinner programmes with Scheduled Caste women at the district level on April 10. Likewise, on April 11, on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, a symposium will be organised at the district level by the Backward Classes Morcha.
The BJP would subsequently organise a cleanliness campaign in all 100 wards of the city on April 12.
On April 13, party workers will run a tree plantation campaign and cleaning of waterbodies at the mandal level. This will culminate with programmes at the district and divisional levels on the birth anniversary of Dalit icon Bhimrao Ambedkar on April 14.
