SILCHAR: A total of 42 government hospitals in Cachar district will be evaluated by the IAS, IFS and state civil service officers on the lines of Gunotsav during the three-day Swasthya Sewa Utsav (SSU) along with other parts of the state from April 6 to 8.
Additional deputy commissioner, (Cachar) in-charge, health, Yubaraj Borthakur, said in the same way during Gunotsav where the government assesses school infrastructure every year and the evaluators give different grades by checking the quality of reading in schools, hospitals will also be given grades by checking the quality of health services. The evaluators are patients in this case.
“The evaluators will observe the hospital services after the verification process of the hospital and will give grade percentage value. The ADC said, “A value of 70% will mean a hospital is A grade, 50% to 69% will mean it is B grade and 50% will mean a hospital is in C grade.”
Addressing the media, Borthakur said the assessment will be conducted in 15 hospitals, including Satindra Mohan Dev Civil Hospital on the first day, 15 hospitals on the second day and 12 on the third day.
