Tarkishore Prasad stopped from visiting Sasaram

Amid Opposition’s attack on Bihar government over the Sasaram incident, Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad on April 06 scheduled a visit to the district. Several BJP leaders also joined the former Deputy CM. However, the convoy was stopped midway from entering Sasaram. Recalling the worsening situation in Bihar, Prasad chastised the move and accused the state government of hiding something. Several violent incidents erupted in Bihar on the day of Ram, Navami over which the state government is being heavily criticised by the Opposition.
