In her advisory, Sonar said high day time temperature and a convective current has caused local instability in the area. This will allow moisture laden winds from the Bay of Bengal to enter the area. Combined effect of this would be cloudy skies with little or very little rainfall.
As per the warning issued thunder lightning and high velocity winds are expected to be witnessed mostly during the afternoon and evening hours for the next four days. Citizens are advised to stay indoor and avoid travelling during incidents of thunder and lighting. Usage of mobile phones and other electronics is also to be avoided. Also in case of high velocity winds, proper care is to be taken.
