2 die, 1 injured as dumper truck rams into bike in Noida

NOIDA: A dumper truck allegedly hit a bike near the Vinod Bhati roundabout in Ecotech 1 on Tuesday night, leaving two dead and a teenager injured.
Vinod Kumar (38) and Sameer Bhati (20), both residents of Greater Noida’s Dankaur area, died in the accident. Vinod’s son Suraj Kumar (19), who was riding pillion, was injured and taken to a nearby hospital by a police teamaround 9.30pm, Sarita Malik, the SHO of Ecotech 1 police station, said. The incident took place around 9.30 pm, the SHO added.
Cops said Suraj and Sameer worked at a factory, and Vinod was a driver. “Vinod was riding the bike with the two others riding pillion. Till now, we have not received a complaint. The truck driver is also absconding. We will start investigating the case once we receive a written complaint,” added Malik.
