Goa: 120 new Covid cases, active tally up at 818

PANAJI: Goa recorded 120 Covid cases on Wednesday, and even though there were 97 recoveries, the active cases rose to 818. Seven patients were hospitalised, while 113 were home isolated.
The recovery rate remained unchanged at 98.1%. 927 tests were conducted over the past 24 hours against 1,175 on Tuesday. Meanwhile, health services are awaiting a stock of Covid vaccines to restart the vaccination programme. Around 7.3% of people in the 18-59 age group and 53 % of the 60-plus population took precautionary doses.
