Prior to now, it was believed that ram Charan and Shankar's "Game Changer" wouldn't be distributed in theatres for Sankranthi 2024 but rather would debut early in december 2023. producer dil raju was clear that it would not be Sankranthi or december because he still had a lot of work to do on this film. "As of this writing, we have finished the movie's music and action sequences as well as some of the talkie. Currently, we have shooting scheduled through august or September. We won't know for sure when the movie might be released until the filming is finished, said dil raju in his exclusive interview.

It appears that until Shankar's project is finished, not even ram Charan's forthcoming movie, which will be helmed by Buchi Babu, will begin production. In the meantime, shankar left the country to wrap up the ongoing filming of indian 2, in which kamal haasan will reprise his part as the lead character.
