Cong workers join BJP in Sanquelim

Bicholim: BJP’s Sanquelim unit inducted a number of Congress workers from wards 4 and 6 of Sanquelim Municipal Council on Thursday.
BJP functionaries said that this move will help strengthen the party’s position in the town. The development comes at a time when the party is gearing up for the municipal elections in the town.
The programme was held in the presence of chief minister and local MLA Pramod Sawant, Sanquelim BJP mandal president Gopal Surlakar and others. tnn
