11 kg heroin found near Pak border

Amritsar: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday seized 11 kg hero airdropped by a Pakistani drone near Dhanoe Kalan in Amritsar district. The first haul was of 9.5 kg heroin and another of 2.6 kg heroin from Mehandipur in Tarn Taran district.
3 of family killed in Amritsar fire
Amritsar : Three members of a family died while four others were injured in a house fire here on Wednesday . A short-circuit is reported to be the cause but police are still investigating.

Ferozepur: Punjab education minister Harjot Singh Bains on Wednesday visited a primary school in Kaluwala village on the Pakistan border in Ferozepur district.
