NEW DELHI: Shares of Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd. traded 0.02 per cent up in Thursday's trade at 11:32AM (IST). Around 217 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 5893.55 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 5920.6 and Rs 5876.0, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 7377.6 and a 52-week low of Rs 4299.8.

Total market cap of the Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd. stood at Rs 65463.4 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 116.03 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, down 42.27 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 200.99 crore and down 5.36 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 110.13 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 1285.65 crore, up 23.6 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Dec-2022, domestic institutional investors held 3.64 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 12.27 per cent and the promoters 51.36 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 14.22 and a price-to-book ratio of 1.3. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
