TV actors Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy are all set to embrace parenthood for the first time. The couple on Thursday announced the news with an adorable video.

Sharing a video on social media, the couple said their family is growing and sought blessings from their well-wishers and fans as they embrace a new phase of life. The video is quite filmy and gives you a glimpse of the couple when they met to their wedding to the pregnancy.

Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy are one of the most adored couples in the TV industry and their Instagram handles are proof. The couple keeps sharing quirky and hilarious reel videos with their fans and has garnered a massive fan following online.

Their love story started on the sets of Suryaputra Karn where Rode played Karn and Awasthy portrayed Draupadi in the mythological serial. They fell head over heels in love with each other and took their relationship forward by tying the knot in 2018.

While Rode has been a popular face for a long, Awasthy rose to prominence with her role of Razia Sultan in Razia Sultan and Draupadi in Suryaputra Karn. She started her acting career with Yeh Hai Aashiqui in 2014.

She also appeared in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Vedika and Kajal Bhatt Khurana in Gud Se Meetha Ishq. She was also seen in the film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Gajraj Rao.

On the other hand, Gautam Rode made his Bollywood debut in 2002 with Annarth which starred Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, and Preeti Jhangiani in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, another star couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover revealed the face of their baby daughter Devi Basu Singh Grover for the first time on Thursday.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Wednesday addressed a press conference and spoke about multiple aspects including award functions, upcoming young stars, OTT platforms, his films, and the most recent death threats he received.

Addressing the press conference in Mumbai, the actor made shocking revelations about award shows and said he was once invited to an award show and was promised the Best Actor award right after Maine Pyar Kiya. He revealed he reached the award show with his whole family, however, it went to Jackie Shroff and not him.

Speaking about the upcoming young stars, Khan sang plaudits for them calling them hardworking. However, he called them out for hiking their fees.

Khan further shared his opinion on why Hindi films are not working of late. He said filmmakers should work on their content as there is a lack of good quality content. He said for some directors, the audience is from Colaba to Andheri which is not true.

The actor then opened up about his interaction with a journalist. He said he is bad at remembering names and he can’t recall the journalist who only wrote negative articles about Khan. He revealed he met her at an event and it was only after someone called out her name that he realised she is the one who had been writing against him.

The superstar finally reacted to the death threats he got recently. Upon being asked about how it feels when India’s bhaijaan gets a death threat, his witty reply left everyone in splits. He said he is also a heartthrob for several and not just bhaijaan.

An old video of Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is going viral on social media in which he is seen confessing that he once wanted to murder Anushka Sharma’s career. The video is from a 2016 event where he said that he tried to sabotage Anushka’s career in her initial years in Bollywood.

The Dharma Productions owner, who is labelled a flagbearer of nepotism by Kangana Ranaut, recalled how he almost ruined her career after he asked Aditya Chopra to cast Sonam Kapoor opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi instead of Anushka.

Narrating the incident, he said when Aditya showed him the photo of Anushka Sharma to cast in the film, he straight away refused her to cast. The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director said he called Aditya insane and told him that there was no need for him to sign her.

He said he wanted to cast Sonam Kapoor for this role, however, Aditya denied it and cast Anushka. Karan said the film was also something he reluctantly watched and was amazed.

However, Karan revealed that Anushka’s performance in Band Baaja Baaraat completely changed his perception. He said he called her since he felt like he owed her an apology and a compliment. Karan was accompanied by Anushka and Aishwarya Rai at the 18th MAMI Mumbai Film Festival in 2016, which was held around the release of his directorial, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

He said, Apology because he felt so embarrassed that he would have actually ruined the graph of exceptional talent and secondly, a compliment because he thought she was amazing, the filmmaker added.

This video didn’t go well down with several users on social media. Even The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri slammed Karan Johar for his comment. Reacting to the video, Agnihotri said Someone’s only hobby is to make or break careers. If Bollywood is in the gutter, it’s because of some people’s dirty backroom politics against talented outsiders.
