Advocates demand district judge’s transfer

Kanpur: Advocates on protest took out a peaceful procession on Wednesday from Kanpur court to Gandhi statue to press their demand for “transfer of district judge Kanpur Nagar”.
The advocates abstained from judicial work. They are on strike since March 23. According to Anurag Srivastava, general secretary Kanpur Bar Association, the advocates will sit on Dharna at Shatabdi gate on Thursday. TNN
