Haider Ali Punjabi has developed an App that assists people during the holy month of Ramadan. He is a resident of the Brein Nishat area of Srinagar. He was interested in computers since his childhood. He made many useful Apps and websites and also built an App to give updates about COVID during the pandemic. Now Haider has come up with an App named ‘Iftar Kar’, which tells the exact time of Iftar and Suhoor in Ramadan. ‘Iftar Kar’ has 2 million views with over 14,000 users on its website which displays prayer timings for Iftar and Suhoor. It shows Darul-Rahimmiya’s issued timings, as well as of the Jafaria Fiqh as well as Ahl al-Hadith, making it an all-encompassing App. The App also has the option of Kashmiri language for the users and global location features to give prayer timings based on geo-locations. It is making it easier for Muslims worldwide to observe Ramadan, especially the Kashmiri diaspora. His App is available on the Play Store and Apple Store, through which everyone can easily access it. The App is in demand among Kashmiris living in all parts of the world. Kashmiri people appreciated the step taken by Haider Ali Punjabi.
