At Scott, Meredith was named to the all-state second team and 10th Region all-tournament team as a sophomore. She averaged 25.2 points and 8.0 rebounds while 56% from the field.

Meredith wasn't the only former Kentucky prep star to join the Norse. Around the same time she announced her commitment, former Wayne County star Macey Blevins joined her in announcing her transfer to NKU.

Blevins averaged 4.5 points in 17 minutes per game as a sophomore. As a freshman, she started 26 games, scoring 7.1 points and grabbing 3.1 rebounds per game.

As a senior at Wayne County, Blevins was named to the Louisville Courier-Journal all-state first team, was the 12th Region Player of the Year and a finalist for Kentucky Ms. Basketball. She holds nine school records, including 2,636 career points.

The addition of Meredith and Blevins will give the Norse stability and experience at the guard position. At season's end, Lindsey Duvall and Emmy Souder graduated while Whitney Hay and Emmy Taylor entered the transfer portal. The Norse went 17-14 in 2022-2023 and advanced to the Horizon League semifinals for the first time since 2019-2020.
