Chinese attempt to rename places in Arunachal will not change situation on ground: MEA

MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi on April 06 talked to media persons on the Chinese journalists’ visa issue, attempt to change names of many places in Arunachal Pradesh and the vandalism of Hindu Temples in Canada. Arindam Bagchi shared that there are Chinese journalists who have valid Indian visas for pursuing journalism activities. Moreover, he shared that Arunachal Pradesh is a very important part of the country and these Chinese attempts to change the name will not change the situation on the ground. Furthermore, he added that the matter of vandalism of the Hindu Temple was taken up with the Canadian authority, and hoped that the Canadian authorities will take action on it.
