Three IPS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday transferred three IPS officers including Meerut's additional superintendent of police Anirudh Kumar. Kumar was shifted to CB-CID in the same capacity.
IPS Kumar is currently under scanner after his video seen demanding a bribe of Rs 25 lakh, had gone viral on social media. A probe to check the veracity of the video is being carried out by CP Varanasi on the directions of the DGP.
The other two IPS shifted include DCP Varanasi Arti Singh who was shifted to Kanpur police commissionerate and Ankita Sharma, DCP in Kanpur, was shifted to Varanasi in the same capacity.
