Moa Subong receives Padma Shri for inventing ‘Bamhum’, wind musical instrument made from bamboo

Moa Subong conferred the Padma Shri from President Droupadi Murmu on April 05. Subong invented the musical instrument called ‘Bamhum’- a wind musical instrument made from bamboo. Padma Shri is the fourth-highest civilian award of the Republic of India.
