VHP organises ‘Shobha Yatra’ ahead of Hanuman Jayanti in Delhi

Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on April 05 organised a ‘Shobha Yatra’ in Delhi ahead of Hanuman Jayanti. The procession was carried out from Holy Convent School in Vikasnagar to Ambedkar ground in Uttam Nagar. Reacting to this, VHP International Working President Alok Kumar said, “In Bihar and Bengal, the violence initiated during Ram Navami has not been stopped yet. It is still continuing. It is the responsibility of the government to ensure people can celebrate their festivals, take out their Shobha Yatra and do other rituals in peace and calmness. Therefore, the Union Government has done a good thing, in reminding all the state governments to make adequate arrangements that the Hanuman Jayanti procession will be taken out peacefully and without any violence.”
